Kapwing is free to get started. We offer users in workspaces on the Free Plan access to try out most of our tools.
For users who want additional features, we do offer paid plan options. In a Pro, Business, or Enterprise workspace, users are able to export longer, larger, and 4K quality projects. They also play a huge role in helping us maintain and develop our site. Consider upgrading today if you are interested and able.

Are there any limits for workspaces on the Free Plan?
Free and Paid Plans each have limits around what size file they can upload, the duration of an exported video, and what quality they can export.
Users in workspaces on the Free Plan can upload any supported file type to Kapwing, as long as it is no larger than 250MB. They also can export projects up to 4 minutes in length with a Kapwing watermark. Our Paid Plans allow users to upload files up to 6GB in size and export content up to 120 minutes in length without a watermark.
Users in workspaces on the Free Plan can only export in SD quality (720p) while users in workspaces on the Pro Plan can export in HD quality (1080p). Read more about our export and upload limits in the Kapwing Pro: Pricing and Subscription FAQ article.
While users in workspaces on the Free Plan can make unlimited projects, they only have access to 3 projects in each folder and all projects are subject to deletion after 3 days. After three free projects are created, each new project created will lock the oldest one.
Upgrading to a Paid Plan will provide access to previously created content if they have not been created over 3 days ago. This is a Paid Plan feature because there are high storage costs associated with keeping projects editable for a longer period of time. If you want access to older projects, we recommend upgrading to our Pro Plan, especially before the projects are deleted.
Our Business and Enterprise Plans are on our pricing page.
